Continuing with the Legend of Elijah Hall from yesterday's post. Adam from the Red Truck Event Center stopped in the Misty to promote a mud run and we got to talking. He was telling me about some strange things that had been happening on the Event Center's land and I asked him where it was. He told me the corner of Hopkins and Coles Creek rd. He is from up north and had never heard the Legend of Elijah. I had to tell him his land was haunted. To which his crazy yankee ass responded, Ol we should do Haunted Trails there. At first I was like h*** to da no, as my momma was a Hodges and if you read yesterday's post or have heard the legend, ol Elijah don't care much for my people. Oddly enough I am also related to the Hall's so I got to thinking maybe I be ok...... so needless to say he talked me into it. I already been up there twice and it was creepy as h***. This may be the only Haunted Trails around on actually haunted land. You may not believe in such things, but I bet if you were up there alone about sunset your ass start believing. I was all tough and brave Sunday evening, up there, until it started getting dark. I bet the dust still hasn't settled from where I peeled rubber out of there. That ain't no joke. Maybe the legend is real or maybe not, but I heard something in those woods that did not sound like anything I wanted to meet. That being said, h*** if this southern boy is gonna let a yankee show him up, so I reckon as long as Adam don't chicken out, this southern boy is going back :) Big Love
